Shows With Sizzle!

Shows with Sizzle!

Let our dancers add “zing” to your special event!

DIT has performed and produced shows for the Kennedy Center, the DC Convention Center, the Capital One Arena (a 20,000-seat sports arena), Red Carpet Galas, government offices, and parties and events both large and small.  The DanceInTime teams have performed for public and private evens in DC, Baltimore, Miami, New York, Puerto Rico, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Miami and beyond!

The Kennedy Center's Education Department and their Millenium Stage co-sponsored this Latin Dance show. DIT Director Barb Bernstein produced and narrated the program.

This abstract dance show was produced by DanceInTime and Sinclair Dance. Choreography was done by Sinclair Ogaga Emoghene.

Hispanic Heritage Programs

Hispanic Heritage Programs

DanceInTime has produced many Hispanic Heritage Month Shows for schools, offices, libraries, and organizations which are fun, enriching, and educational.  Programs are available in multiple formats—“in person,” live online, and as a pre-recorded video. These can include dance instruction, performances, comments about Latin culture and dance histories, and a showing of DIT’s Salsa documentary.  We can explain the difference between Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Cha cha music and then ask the audience to guess which dance is being performed! This program was originally developed for a Kennedy Center show, and you can see clips of it here: youtu.be/MIxF9Y50XY8.  Barbara Bernstein has been a keynote speaker as well.   Click here for a list of DIT’s Hispanic Heritage program venues. Readers may inquire further about Heritage Months here.

Women's History Month

Women's History Month

Danceintime offers a "Women Take the Lead” program on women’s movement toward equality and how that is reflected in the arts. This is suitable for Women's History Month and Women's Equality Day (August 26), etc.   The program has been done both in person and online. It includes remarks about women’s changing roles throughout history and how “art imitates life” by reflecting those changes.  Women both lead and follow in this dance program, and ladies in the audience can learn the leader’s part during any instruction. This program is empowering and educational---and of course, fun! Readers may inquire further by clicking on the Heritage Month button at the bottom of this website or by contacting Barb.
